What is CBI Chaverim?

CBI Chaverim is a youth group for Congregation B’nai Israel’s fourth and fifth graders designed to incorporate informal Jewish education and a social environment simultaneously.  Over the past five years under the leadership of Aly Greenstein, Chaverim Advisor, the group has flourished and continues to gain strength.

The goal of CBI’s Chaverim Chapter is to provide Jewish experiences that are so fun and rewarding that the kids will choose to include them into their already-packed schedules.  By doing so, we will truly integrate our children into the greater Congregation B’nai Israel Community.

Why would I want to join?

CBI’s Chaverim Chapter has tons to offer our 4th and 5th graders, including but not limited to:

  • New Friendships
  • Fun and exciting events
  • A new way to connect to CBI
  • Mitzvah Opportunities

The group primarily meets in CBI’s multi-purpose room once a month on Tuesdays after Religious School, dinner will be served.  There are a few times during the year when we will meet off site or on Saturday evening for a special event.

Sounds great! How do I join?

Thought you’d never ask! Fill out this membership form and send it to CBI’s office or bring it to the first event.
