Dear Friends:
I am gratified to find that a good number of people are reading my blog entries. Please keep it up – I’m told it has promise.
I have been informed that there have been a number of interpretations of my last blog (published Monday, September 8) – and would first like to apologize for any lack of clarity that resulted.
To be clear, it has been, is and will always be my position that the Millburn School Board must keep all current Jewish holidays on the school calendar. Specifically, I favor keeping the two days of Rosh Hashanah and the one day of Yom Kippur as holidays for Millburn/Short Hills.
I would like to thank Eric and Rachel Manne for bringing this to my attention.
Rabbi Steven Bayar
